The planned single-family dwellings aim, above all, to have a greater interior spatial quality.
The garage was discarded in a basement because the urbanization itself grants sufficient space outside the plots for parking. Therefore, allocating more space to cars within the plots to the detriment of a larger private garden area seemed at least unjustifiable.
The overall design of the dwelling is therefore the search, on the one hand, for low costs and, on the other, to convert it into a space that can be improved, changed, in short, capable of being transformed according to needs. With load-bearing concrete walls and façades of prefabricated panels finished in “golden granite”, the dwellings combine traditional methods with current systems of prefabricated construction.
As for the choice of roof, one of the most complicated elements, not only from the climatic point of view, but also for its durability, is projected in zinc.
On the other hand, for the exterior carpentry the aluminium was chosen, but covered of colour by means of lead-free polyester powder, in order to achieve, through its metallic finish, the chromatic unit required by the plastic assembly.
